Great laces
Always have double knotted my work and hiking boots for as long as I can remember and sometimes they still would come undone. I bought these because I like the color and figured I give them a try. After trying them out with a single knot atleast 10 times my boots have never come undone. I use them on my Thorogoods with metal hooks up top and I have no fraying of the laces. Definitely worth it.

Since they are "non Slip" they have little kinks in them. It is a little strange at first, but so far, they haven't come undone. I don't like that when they are new, they feel slippery, and leave a residue on your fingers. I looked up the size for my LOWA hiking boots, and even though these are 10cm longer at 160cm. they fit great! Listed was that LOWA uses 150cm laces. These laces fit for me. I will come back and update this review if I find any problems. I hope this helps. Mark :)

I ordered the dark green/coffee to match my hiking shoe accent stripes. Unfortunately I'm finding that the color rendition of the online images make the lace colors look a bit more vibrant, or rich, than they actually do. (I do have an HD monitor, and have the colors adjusted as neutral as possible).

I usually walk at least 5 miles a day wearing my Merrell hiking shoes. The laces never stayed tied for long and sometimes I had stop to to retie the double knot 2 times during my walk. These laces work and no more double knots.
