Always have double knotted my work and hiking boots for as long as I can remember and sometimes they still would come undone. I bought these because I like the color and figured I give them a try. After trying them out with a single knot atleast 10 times my boots have never come undone. I use them on my Thorogoods with metal hooks up top and I have no fraying of the laces. Definitely worth it.

I don't like that when they are new, they feel slippery, and leave a residue on your fingers. I looked up the size for my LOWA hiking boots, and even though these are 10cm longer at 160cm. they fit great! Listed was that LOWA uses 150cm laces. These laces fit for me. I will come back and update this review if I find any problems. I hope this helps. Mark :)
