Lace length questions.
What size boot laces do I need?
Count the eyelet pairs on one side of your boot, hooks included. Rockwear's guide suggests 45 inches for 6 pairs, 54 inches for 7 and 63 inches for 8. If you still have the old lace, measure it tip to tip and pick the closest length.
How long are hiking boot laces?
Hiking boots with 6 to 8 eyelet pairs, counting hooks, take laces between 45 and 63 inches in Rockwear's guide.
What length laces for 6 eyelets?
For 6 eyelet pairs (12 holes), Rockwear's guide suggests 45 inches. For 7 pairs choose 54 inches, and for 8 pairs choose 63 inches.
Should I size up or down?
If you are between sizes, longer is easier to live with. You can wrap the extra around the top hook or tuck the ends. A lace that is too short will not tie.
Does every color come in every length?
The 54 inch length comes in all 18 colors. The 45 inch length comes in 17 and the 63 inch length in 15. Each product page shows the lengths for that color.
